The second phase of ‘Loyalty to the Free' prisoner exchange deal between Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, and the "Israeli" entity was completed late on Sunday.

550 Palestinian prisoners, including two from Jordan and six Palestinian female detainees were released.

Palestinian sources reported that 41 detainees arrived into the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Border Terminal. The detainees were moved from Ayalon Prison in Al Ramla to Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) Crossing, in cooperation with the International Red cross, before they were sent to Gaza via the Rafah Border Terminal between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.

507 detainees, who were all sent to Ofer "Israeli" prison, were released and sent the Palestinian Presidential Headquarters in Ramallah, via Rafat roadblock where the President's secretary, Tayyib Abdul-Rahim, several political leaders of different factions, members and of the Palestinian Legislative Council and thousands of residents, gathered to greet them.

The first stage of the deal was last October, when 447 Palestinians were freed in exchange for the "Israeli" soldier Jilad Shalit, who had been held in Hamas captivity in Gaza for more than five years.
Thousands of people have celebrated at the Rafah border crossing in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Also, Hamas has declared Monday a national holiday to honor the occasion.
