Grave dereliction in protecting the nuclear reactor in Dimona

Channel 2

Inspecting Dimona's reactor "field protection" revealed that some serious mistakes are being committed on the ground. For years, Dimona reactor was neglected and unshielded. Considering the results, 30 million shekels were allocated to secure the nuclear facility.

Providing field protection to Dimona's reaction lies on the Home Front which constantly places a number of fighters from the "Israeli" army brigades, and their mission is to prevent anyone from approaching the facility. It is apparent now that budgets weren't spent on enhancing the protection of the facility. Home front command filed the issue to the General Staff and asked to allocate a budget to protect this sensitive facility, but it was slammed by different parties. At a certain point, even the political body intervened.

According to an "Israeli" security source, "I hoped for the most strategic facility in "Israel" to have the best protection from the government, but the status quo is that it is not well-protected. The gap is enormous, and setting budgets to protect the facility took so much time."

Punishing 10 soldiers ignoring orders near Lebanese borders

Yedioth Ahronoth website

Small rebellion in Givati Brigade: Ten Givati Brigade soldiers from the Shaked Infantry Battalion, which is executing operational tasks in the central area near the Lebanese borders, were punished because they ignored orders claiming that their commander's treatment was "humiliating". Two soldiers were sent to military prison and a few others were confined to base for a month.

Brigade commanders regard this incident as dangerous for taking place in an exposed area. Soldiers claimed that they were being subjected to a humiliating treatment that included harsh verbal abuse. Shaked Infantry Battalion commander is reconsidering the capacities of the brigade's officer, due to professional issues not behavioral ones. ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ

"Israeli" economist: Europe Can't Afford to Abandon Iranian Oil

Channel 1

"Israeli" economist Onn Winckler, a lecturer at Haifa University, said that "Iran exports four million barrels of oil per day to the global market, and if we took into account that Libya, Syria and Egypt have not yet extracted oil, then another 1.7 million barrels of oil are not being exported." The absence of the Iranian oil in the market will lead to a very sharp rise in prices, noting that no one today is able to compensate for the 4 million barrels.

Winckler added that the global oil market acts as one group, and all around the world, there isn't any spare capacity for 4 million barrels. KSA, Qatar, and Kuwait have all increased their production to compensate for the lack of Libyan oil. Oil prices rose above 97$ per barrel almost reaching 100$ a barrel, and imagine what will happen to the European economy when oil prices rise had an oil embargo on Iran was imposed. "There is another side for the Iranian oil issue, for the so-called "East" won't commit to any sanctions imposed against Iran; I haven't noticed that China and India are imposing such a ban on Iran," Winckler stated.
