Imam Khamenei: US Efforts Aim to Isolate Iran, But They Are Isolated

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has denounced the United States' anti-Iran efforts aimed at isolating the Islamic Republic. 

They say that they want to isolate Iran... they are themselves isolated; today, no country is more hated than the US in the world, the Imam said in an address to a mass crowd of people in the city of Gilan-e Gharb in the western province of Kermanshah on Saturday. 

Imam Khamenei said that the US is hated in Iraq, Afghanistan, Tunisia, Egypt and even Europe. 

On Tuesday, the US Justice Department accused Iran of involvement in a plot to assassinate Adel Al-Jubeir with help from a suspected member of a Mexican drug cartel. 

Iran has categorically denied the accusation, saying the recent US plot allegation is a "ludicrous" claim based on the joint US-"Israel" posture against the Islamic Republic.
