Supreme Leader Praises Middle East, North Africa Islamic Awakening
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei praised the wave of Islamic Awakening sweeping across the Middle East and North Africa.
During a meeting with the heads of the three branches of government, chairman of Iran's Assembly of Experts, Iranian parliament members, military commanders, and other senior Iranian officials, His Eminence stated that the Islamic Republic proved that it can thwart all plots schemed by its enemies.
"We faced many threats during the past 32 years; political threats, security threats, military threats, and economic threats", Sayyed Ali Khamenei noted.
Furthermore, the Supreme Leader referred to the people's trust in the Islamic Republic, saying it resembles another point of strength for the country and the nation.
In this context, Sayyed Khamenei emphasized that there is no other country in the world whose people have such a great deal of confidence in their government.
"Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran is known as a respected, influential, and credible country in the arena of international politics", the Islamic Revolution Leader affirmed, in reference to the progress Iran is achieving despite Western sanctions imposed on it.
On another hand, His Eminence Sayyed Ali Khamenei mentioned the deteriorating image of the Unites States in the Middle East, further confirming that Washington is now facing serious challenges, including the economic dept crisis.
