’’Israel’’ Accuses NGOs of July 2006 Defeat
According to the paper "the most blatant example was the incident in Qana where "Israel" responded to heavy Hizbullah rocket attacks with an air raid. One of the buildings was hit and collapsed, causing a number of deaths and injuries."
Hardly does "Israel" spend every effort to erase some of the facts of its defeat in Lebanon five years ago. Trying to find empty excuses resembles one of the techniques but the new strategy in the way of comforting the political and military administration as well as their community has been resembled lately by pointing out fingers of accusation to human rights and non-governmental organizations.
Under the title: "Lebanon War distortions", the "Israeli""Y Net News" published Monday an "Israeli" study claiming that "NGOs issued baseless, fabricated accusations against "Israel"."
Admitting that "the Second Lebanon War traumatized "Israel" politically as well as militarily," the published study confessed that "militarily, "Israel" failed to dislodge what it views as a terrorist organization (Hizbullah) from its southern Lebanese foothold."
"Politically, "Israeli" leaders found themselves overwhelmed by a flood of false accusations of war crimes, indiscriminate and disproportionate force, and violations of international law," the study claimed.
Accusing International non-governmental organizations of playing a critical role in the political warfare against "Israel", the study mentions that Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International - described in the "Israeli" tongue as "ostensibly neutral watchdogs" - led the campaign.
Providing the examples of "Israel" war crimes in the two Lebanese Southern villages of Qana and Srifa, the study tries to underestimate the true facts of slaughtering children and women.
"The NGOs published wildly inconsistent civilian casualty claims within a few days of each other.... In many incidents, HRW and Amnesty reports initially relied both on Lebanese witnesses and the personal observations of its own researchers to deny any Hizbullah military presence in the area of an "Israeli" strike," the "Israeli" fabricated research stated forgetting all about media pictures and live broadcasting of horrible massacres against civilians.
As usual, to "Israel" a number of deaths and injuries are as simple as that. More than 50 children, women, and old refuges were butchered with Zionist heavy weapons.
"The catch-22 in which the NGOs placed "Israel" is illustrated by their proof that "Israel" knew that civilians were in the building, near Hizbullah targets. On August 3, 2006, Amnesty International proved that an "Israeli" investigation showing that the "Israeli" military had not known of the civilians was a whitewash because survivors of the attack ... stated that they had been in the building for some two weeks and that their presence must have been known to "Israeli" forces," the study revealed to come to the following conclusion:
"Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch claim to be promoting universal values by prosecuting their political war against the State of "Israel". But justice will only truly be served when the NGOs are held accountable for their distortion."
Isn't that another example of the Zionist entity's endless rudeness and audacity?!
