On the forty-fourth anniversary of the Shebaa Farms and Kfar Shebaa Hills occupation, popular delegations as well as several political, social, cultural, and scouting prominent figures headed a rally towards the gate of Birkat al-Nakar near the barbed wire in the occupied farms.

During this rally, the group unveiled a memorial holding a map of the occupied farms and their names as well as the dates of occupation that began in 1967.
After the national anthem, a memorial of the farms was unveiled after raising the Lebanese flag over it.

Then, the President of "al- Orkoub Sons organization Dr. Mohammed Hamdan, delivered a speech saying: "We chose this date 26 / 6, which marks the 44 anniversary of the Zionist aggression, occupation and bite off the farms, to turn it to a day in the direction of farms' and Kfar Shuba Hills' liberalization, where the Zionist Entity worked to change the features and localization thinking that time will lead to forgetting the case.

"Our farms and Hills are with all their details engraved in our memory and time, no matter how long or short it is, can't change this fact or frustrate our wills and our struggle for their liberation." Hamdan emphasized.

For his part, MP Qassem Hashem stressed that "we are here today to tell our enemy that after 44 years of occupation of these farms and after days of his drills, which we are used to, we have conquered the enemy in 2000 and 2006 through the Holy Trinity of army, the people, and resistance."

Clarifying that "we and will not bet as other people on international resolutions and international community," Hashem pointed out "that our strong will, will prevail on the might of the enemy, for the sake of freedom, sovereignty and independence."

Representing the leadership of Lebanese Popular Conference in Tripoli, lawyer Abdel Nasser al- Masri said that: "We came from Northern Lebanon to the South to express through this participation on the national scene of your case that must be carried by every free citizen in Lebanon. Today, and through this stand at the doors of occupied Shebaa farms, the hope in liberating the land and the expulsion of the Zionist occupiers is renewed."
