Under the codename of 'Turning Point 5' the Zionist enemy started a five-day military drill on Sunday, AFP reported.

The home front defense exercise intended to prepare the "Israeli" population and emergency services to respond to massive missile attacks, according to "Israeli" military.
The exercise involves testing entity-wide siren systems and the cellular network, distributing emergency kits, improving coordination and practicing evacuation and shelter procedures.
According to the Ynet news, the "Israeli" army started Sunday its massive drill including a missile attack on "Israel", a chopper crashing into a residential neighborhood, riots in Wadi Ara, and dangerous chemicals found in the Knesset.

Sirens will sound in cities and towns across the entity later this week, as "Israeli" security and rescue forces practice for various scenarios. A siren will be heard at 11 A.M. on Wednesday and again at 7 P.M. the same day, at which point civilians will be requested to retreat to their closest shelters as part of an evacuation drill.

Among the scenarios being prepared for are sustained rocket attacks on the "Tel Aviv" region, the electrical grid or a geriatric hospital, said local media.
Lawmakers will also be called on to participate in response to a simulated attack on the parliament building in al-Quds (Jerusalem), along with the defense establishment simulating a scenario in which hundreds of missile strike locations across the entity.

Along with the military, police, fire service and emergency services, some 80 municipalities will be taking part as well. The military's "Home Front Command" will also test an emergency SMS service during the exercise, "Israeli" forces said.

Matan Vilnai, a senior official with "Israel's" Ministry of Military Affairs, said that gas masks have been distributed to 60 percent of the population and the rest should receive the protection by next year.
