Hizbullah Welcomes Egyptian Authority’s Decision to Permanently Open Rafah Crossing

Hizbullah welcomes Egyptian decision to permanently open Rafah Crossing, this decision enhances Egypt's role in the region, and serves the just Palestinian cause.
Commenting on the decision taken by the Egyptian authorities to permanently open the Rafah crossing, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
Hizbullah welcomes the decision of the Egyptian authorities to permanently open the Rafah crossing, which breaks the siege imposed on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, even if partly. Hizbullah has always called for the opening of this crossing; which is a national, ethical, and humanitarian demand that eases the suffering of the Palestinian people. Hizbullah congratulates the Egyptian authorities for taking such a decision considering it as a new Egyptian gift following the reconciliation between the Palestinian factions of which Egypt was the patron.
Hizbullah considers that this decision serves the cause of the Palestinian people and enhances the Egyptian role in our region, as well as its position between our people. It calls on more steps that pour into the interest of the Palestinian reconciliation and the just cause of the oppressed Palestinian people.
