As-Safir: False Witness Back to Syria

As-Safir Lebanese newspaper reported Saturday that the Lebanese authorities returned the false witness Akram Shakib Murad to the Syrian judicial authorities, a few days ago, after the end of his sentence on charges of drug trafficking.
In the same context, the paper added that the procedures that took place between Lebanon and the Syrian judicial authorities for Murad's recovery were characterized by full speed," pointing out that this "showed the Syrian interest to restore the wanted citizen after his statement to the International Commission of Inquiry specialized in the assassination of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri."
