Abadi: Resistance and Unity Only Way to Retrieve Palestinian Usurped Rights

Iran's ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people for long years, particularly the people of the Gaza Strip who faced a lot of pressure and aggressive Zionist practices. "Resistance and Unity in facing the Zionist entity is the only way to retrieve the Palestinian usurped rights," Abadi considered.

The Iranian ambassador's comments came during his meeting with Foreign Relations Official in the Hamas Islamic Resistance movement, Osama Hamdan, where the two discussed latest developments on the Palestinian and regional arenas.

During the meeting, Abadi noted that "United States and the West need to stir disputes and strife among the peoples of the region in order to hamper the unity of these peoples in their confrontation to the sole and common enemy, hence "Israel"; as the US and its allies aim at protecting "Israel", but so far all their schemes have failed."

In the same context, Abadi pointed out that the "Israeli" enemy can be encircled and totally destroyed if the popular movement is well managed.
On his part, Hamadan expressed gratitude to the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in its support to the Palestinian people in confronting the Zionist aggressions.

He further noted that the region today witnesses the peoples' awakening, while the US and "Israel" try to face this awakening with sowing strife and harming the resistance axis. Also, he reiterated that the US aims at compensating for its relapse and failure in the region, through interfering in Bahrain, the Gaza Strip, or Syria.
