Al-Akhbar: Lebanese Insurance Company Receives Information Request from Bellemare’s Office

Al-Akhbar daily reported on Saturday that a Lebanese insurance company received a letter categorized as "confidential", from the Special Tribunal for Lebanon General Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare's office in Beirut.

The letter stated, "We would be thankful if you were able to confirm adopting necessary measures to follow up this request, and if it were possible, to provide the requested information by May 6, 2011".

The Lebanese daily added that the letter sealed by Bellemare further read, "In case of any questions regarding this request, they could be addressed to Falerio Akila, head of Beirut investigation, and he could be reach on the phone line 04533381, or on the mobile number 71118101".
