Head of Hizbullah Executive Board Sayyed Hashem Safieddine considered that what had happened in the recent days assures that some in Lebanon still wager on illusions and still resort to the same desperate and scandalous methods (of corruption). He noted that those Lebanese bring back the experience concerning the relation with Syria, stressing there is no need that some be part of a scheme against the resistance and against Syria.

Sayyed Safieddine further explained that resorting to previous wagers is doomed to fail and is of no value. He further underscored that the incitement used to divide people and create strife is past behind Lebanon. Sayyed Safieddine further explained one of the most important priorities of the coming government is to get rid of all the residues of sectarian practices that left scars behind in the administration and the constitutions.

Concerning the Wikileaks scandals, the Hizbullah official stressed that these assure every single word said by the resistance earlier during and post the July 2006 War. He reiterated these scandals also prove the resistance's capability of steadfastness and endurance, as well as assures the resistance's nationalism and care about the people's safety.

The leaks, Sayyed Safieddine added, assure that a certain group of the Lebanese people have hit rock bottom as they lay in the heart of the US embassy and the US deputies.
