ISF Arrests Lebanese Citizen Accused of Treason with ’’Israeli’’ Enemy

The Lebanese Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) - Public Relations Division reported that in 21-03-2011, in the Southern Lebanese city of Tyr, a unit from the Information Branch arrested (H. B. - Lebanese) for being a suspect of treason with the "Israeli" enemy.

The ISF report also referred that after investigations; the suspect admitted he was an agent working for the "Israeli" intelligence since 2006 until 2011.

The report also included that during H. B.'s recruitment, he provided the "Israeli" intelligence with many detailed information including:

- General studies about the situation in Lebanon, and the relations of different sects with Hizbullah and their view regarding resistance.
- An overall study about the Lebanese southern city of Tyr, regarding the sectarian division, the people's relation with Hizbullah, and how much do they cooperate with them.
- He provided the enemy with (x, y) coordinates for tens of sites in the cities of Tyr and Abbasiyah south Lebanon (including offices of Hizbullah MPs).
- Information about social and religious Hizbullah organizations.
- Detailed information about resistance members in Tyr and its surroundings.
- Information about the resistance operations, movement, and gadgets in the city of Tyr and areas surrounding.

The ISF General Prosecutor's office is still supervising the investigations as they are still ongoing.
