Al intiqad sources confirmed that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon's General Prosecutor, Daniel Bellemare, requested for the Lebanese interior ministry to purchase the fingerprints of four million people.

The sources said the aforementioned contradicts what is claimed by March 14, that Bellemare requested the fingerprints of only 1000 Lebanese people.

They clarified that the Interior Minister refused to respond to Bellemare's request, referring to that upon request, the investigation committee was given the fingerprints of only 1000 Lebanese.

Ministries of Telecommunication and Energy refused to fully respond to Bellemare's requests, clarifying that at the same time, the investigation committee held a meeting with the General Director of the Transportation Ministry, regarding issues related to the airport and the port.

Minister Ghazi Aridi interfered then and stopped the situation, and did not allow the Ministry's director to further giver information to the investigation committee.
