Lebanese President Michel Suleiman considered that threats of Zionist War Minister Ehud Barak, that his troops would once again enter Lebanon, reveal the aggressive intentions of the enemy.

Suleiman stated that this piles up with the "Israeli" violations of international resolution, especially resolution 1701, which Lebanon is abiding by, while "Israel" is constantly breaching it.

President Suleiman referred in a statement, that such stances do not pour but in the context of easing the "Israeli" concerns, and supporting the new "Israeli" Chief of Staff.

He added that he [Barak] knows that entering Lebanon is not longer a fun journey, as assured in the July 2006 war and its repercussions on the "Israeli" interior, including lessons that made "Israel" calculate the repercussions of each step it intends on taking.

Lebanese President clarified that if War Minister Barak bargains that the current governmental situation Lebanon is passing through represents a gap through which the enemy could breach, then this is a foolishness that will have negative repercussions on "Israel".

On this level, Michel Suleiman affirmed that the Lebanese people, army and resistance are together ready to confront any aggression targeting Lebanon, its security and stability.

In this context, President Suleiman pointed out the importance of internal solidarity, in addition to confirming national unity away from cheap personal interests, in order to work on forming a government which should be able to confront all challenges on all levels.
