"Israeli" War Forces Spokesman General Avi Benayahu said that the "Israeli" army is seeking to enlist some 120 technicians to use computer networks and hack some databases for espionage.

According to Ynet news, during a panel entitled "The digital medium as strategic weapon", the military spokesperson said the army was looking for 120 "hackers who were born and raised online".

General Avi Benayahu stated that "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally supported this project, and also supplies it with a budget of some $1.63 million.

The "Israeli" growing importance to cyber attacks and hackings started since the 2006 July war on Lebanon, and the cyber-warfare teams interact with the "Israeli" espionage agencies.

The sought "Israel" computer experts, or hackers, tend to exploit computer networks through damaging and sabotaging databases.
