Imam Khamenei: Despotism Coming to End

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei says the time of gradual end of world arrogant powers and their despotism is nearing.

During a meeting with a large group of commanders and staff of Iranian Army's Air Forces on Tuesday, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the resistance of the Iranian nation and its insistence on principles and Islamic values in particular were the main factors behind the eternity of the Islamic Republic.

His Eminence said the Islamic Republic system, which is advanced in material and spiritual aspects, has prepared the ground for the Iranian people to become as a model for regional nations.

"The Iranian nation has been set as a model for other nations over the past 32 years through its perseverance and resistance on Islam and the Islamic establishment as well as the considerable progresses it made in this regard," he said.

He also added that the Iranian nation has always been a pioneer of fight and resistance against arrogant and bullying powers.

"Today is the day that nations in the Middle East and in the Muslim world are awakened," he stressed.
