Lebanese Newspapers: Hariri Settlement Paper Means All Authority in Return For STL

As-Safir and An-Nahar newspapers published on Saturday a copy of the original document which PSP leader MP Walid Jumblatt revealed during his press conference on Friday. 

While discussing the S-S compromise, Jumblatt told reporters that the paper he revealed is signed by caretaker government Rafik Hariri. The bargain Hariri presented means all the authority in return for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.

In the paper, Hariri demanded:

-The withdrawal of the false witnesses file.
-The withdrawal of the arrest warrants issued by Syria in former General Security chief Jamil As-Sayyed's case.
-The four Generals' vow not to pursue the case neither in Lebanon nor outside Lebanon.
- No offensives should take place against Hariri and his team (Saeed Mirza, Wissam Al Hassan, Ashraf Rifi, etc...)
- Following up on all the positive Steps (Hariri takes).
-The removal of Palestinian weapons present outside the refugee camps.
-The legislation making the Internal Security Forces (ISF) into an official branch
-Forwarding of 69 draft bills produced by former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora's to Ministerial Council.
-Fixating the Taef Accord
-Dealing with security gaps

According to the document, Hariri would in return:

-Agree to cancel the Lebanese government's protocol with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).
- Stop Lebanese funding to the tribunal.
-Withdraw the Lebanese judges of the tribunal.
