Wahhab in Response to Faisal: We Will Prevent Division despite All Attempts to Realize It

Head of the Arab Tawhid Party former MP Wiam Wahhab said that "the stance of Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al Faisal is not surprising," noting that the element of surprise is in "Saud Al Faisal's theory on dividing Lebanon, which is something we assure to his highness, will never happen."
In a statement he issued, Wahhab added "How we wish that Saud Al Faisal and people like him would get occupied by their own domestic issues...We assure that we are strong in Lebanon, to an extent that we will prevent any division in our country, even if all the world stood in our face to realize that division."

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal had said that Saudi Arabia has "lifted its hand" off the Saudi-Syrian mediation and went as far as warning against "separation and partition in Lebanon."
