The Syrian-Qatari-Turkish trilateral Summit held Monday in Damascus between Syrian President Bashar Assad, Qatari Prince Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyeb Erdogan, praised the postponement of parliamentary consultations in Lebanon.

The Syrian Presidential statement read that the negotiations of the summit included latest developments on the region, especially concerning the Lebanese crisis.

In this context, the three leaders affirmed their concern to reach a solution for this crisis, based on the Syrian-Saudi efforts, in order to achieve conciliation between the Lebanese, and prevent the aggravation of the said crisis.

The three officials praised the Lebanese decision to postpone the parliamentary consultations, at the time when political efforts take part to help the Lebanese in seeking a solution that meets the Lebanese's interests, and Lebanon's stability.
