Jumblatt: I Disagree to Giving in to Failure of Internal Settlement

Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt said he does not approve giving in to the failure of the internal settlement, adding "The interests of some countries do not match with the (Syrian-Saudi) initiative. That's why responsibility lies on the Lebanese to walk along the path of consensus and stress on dialogue."

In a statement to As-Safir newspaper, Jumblatt urged officials not to fall into "the game of nations" and stressed that the solution should be "Lebanonized". He further added that "We as Lebanese have to stress more and continue in national dialogue in order to contain the repercussions of the indictment."
