Imam Khamenei: US Policies Failed in Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei assured the failure of US policies in Palestine, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iraq and stated, "The US introduces Iran as the main factor behind its failures, but it has been defeated by vigilance and proper policy of nations."
"The enemy makes great efforts to prevent the continuation of the progress path of the Islamic establishment by exerting political pressure, making false propaganda and threatening governments and nations with the Islamic Republic of Iran," said Ayatollah Khamenei in a meeting with thousands of people from the holy Iranian city of Qom on Sunday.
Sayyed Khamenei said proper recognition of the situation, having the feel of responsibility and commitment and timely presence of the Iranians in the scene have been the factors behind the success of the nation which would prepare the ground for spiritual and financial progress.
He added Iranian people successfully passed different "divine tests" over the past 32 years, adding the nation would continue its path with strong determination, vigilance and integrity to achieve peaks of prosperity.
Ayatollah Sayyed Khamenei further pointed out that the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the way arrogant powers reacted to it during the past 32 years were other samples of vulnerability of those who are against the Islamic establishment and the Iranian nation.
His Eminence stressed that the formation of the Islamic establishment in Iran and resistance against bullying powers in the world presented a new approach based on real Islam, an issue which was intolerable to arrogant powers.
"This is the main reason behind their opposition to the Islamic Republic in Iran," he added. Ayatollah Khamenei said Iran's spiritual influence has resulted in an awakening among nations.
He also pointed to the US efforts to prevent the current Iraqi government from coming to power and stressed, "Because of the vigilance of the [Iraqi] nation this government will come to power and the US can do nothing."
