Moqawama.org: Ali Hassan Khalil Stresses on False Witnesses Issue, Says Should be Referred to Justice Council

Lebanese Liberation and Reform Parliamentary Bloc MP Ali Hassan Khalil stressed that the tribunal and indictment conspiracy aims at triggering conflict and incitement between the Lebanese.

In this context, MP Khalil said that it is part of the national responsibility to protect the notion of coexistence, in the region where it is not accepted.

During a ceremony organized by the Amal Movement in the Islamic University in Lebanon, Ali Hassan Khalil said that the "Israeli" enemy is aiming at Judaizing Al Quds (Jerusalem) and all of Palestine.

On this level, MP Khalil stressed that it is all Arabs' and Muslims' responsibility to believe in liberty around the world, especially in Palestine, where Judaism is prepared to be in control, after deposing of Muslims and Christians.

Khalil affirmed that it is the Muslims' responsibility to defend the Christians' right to survival in the east, further stressing on national responsibility which be a great obstacle before the "Israeli" schemes.

On another level, MP Hassan Khalil confirmed that the opposition forces, as being part of Lebanon's political forces, stress on achieving national conciliation, and implementing the Taef accord.

MP Ali Hassan Khalil clarified that the Taef accord was agreed upon half-in-half between Muslims and Christians in order to protect the political system in Lebanon, and respect Lebanon's constitution.

Khalil therefore stressed that the Taef accord should be implemented in all articles, including new election mechanisms, administrative reforms, and others that would help enhance the political status in Lebanon.

Regarding late PM Rafiq Hariri's assassination file, Liberation and Development Bloc MP said that if the media outlet leaks were proven to be true, then Lebanon will surely enter a maze of confusion.

"We stressed on the false witnesses not only saying there is a political scheme that fabricated them, but also there were who worked in a juridical way, on fabricating them in order to accuse a neighboring country", MP Khalil said.

MP Khalil further stressed that the false witnesses file's discussion should not be postponed anymore, adding that the file should be referred to the Justice Council, after he accused the government of protecting the false witnesses and stalling their trial.

On the level of Saudi-Syrian efforts, Liberation and Development Bloc MP pointed out that these efforts are hopefully developing into solving the Lebanese crisis, also into preventing and tension explosions or conflicts.

MP Ali Hassan Khalil affirmed once again the role of the resistance, which is confronting the "Israeli" enemy and its schemes, in addition to US schemes that aim at protecting the "Israeli" interests and security.
