Raad: STL, Indictment US and “Israeli” Tools to Tarnish Image of Resistance

Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Mohammad Raad assured that "No one believes there is a tribunal that wants truth and justice, because the ones involved are the false witnesses and those behind them." 

During a ceremony commemorating Ashura, Raad said that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) and the indictment are US and "Israeli" tools used to tarnish the image of the resistance as well as to sow strife among the Lebanese." 

"When we talk about the false witnesses, people think we mean Zouheir Siddik. We actually we mean those standing behind the false witnesses, fabricated and sponsored them." Raad pointed out that among those supporting the false witnesses are members of parliament, ministers, journalists and security officials.
