Lahoud: Government Should Call Against STL in UNSC

Former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud considered that all what is asked from the government is to present a full official stance in the UN Security Council, calling against the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, waiting for resolving the false witnesses issue.
Emile Lahoud considered that the false witnesses issue should be referred to the Justice Council so it would be resolved, rather than postponing its discussion.
In a statement issued from his Media Bureau, Emile Lahoud called upon adopting firm stances when it comes to saving the country from what threatens it.
In this context, Lahoud stressed that chances of saving the country are decreasing, because the flaws and crisis are not being tackled and resolved correctly.
