Mokdad: No One Knows How Things Will Go After Indictment
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member MP Ali Mokdad said that stalling the ministerial session designed to resolve the false witnesses' issue is due to fear that major politicians involved in this file will be exposed. He stressed that "The false witnesses' issue is the key to the truth on who killed PM Rafik Hariri."
Mokdad, during a ceremony to commemorate Ashura, assured that "Some political parties started trivializing the false witnesses' file through misleading information and giving major importance to economic and social issues." He underscored that "Hizbullah also is concerned about economic and social issues, with the increase of oil prices topping the list."
Moreover, Mokdad asserted that "The resistance and Hizbullah are not worried about themselves, but about the country." The MP called on some parties to "Reconsider their thoughts and search for a solution before the issuance of the so-called indictment," warning that no time should be wasted.
In this context, Mokdad called for a quick settlement before the issuance of the indictment assuring "After the indictment is issued, no one knows what will happen and how things will go. Those who aim at the issuance of the indictment should think a thousand times before doing so, because then the resistance will find itself obliged to defend itself by all means, whether political or diplomatic."
