Tawhid Movement leader Wiam Wahhab said on Saturday that "a solution to the Lebanese impasse would be by cancelling the indictment of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), not by postponing its issue."
He assured that the STL has been forging material in the past five years, of which the best proof is dialogue of STL prosecutor Daniel Bellemare and former US Ambassador Michel Sison in the Monte Verdi.
Wahhab, in an interview with Voice of Lebanon (VOL) radio station - 100.5, advised everyone to "not think that Hezbollah might accept the STL indictment. We need a compromise because we are tired."
Moreover, Wahhab pointed out "There is a sect that represents one third of the Lebanese which feels threatened by an indictment which targets the arms of the Resistance."
He also said that "The Syrian President Bashar Al Assad proved to be a real eladerm and that PSP Leader Walid Jumblatt represents the Druze leadership, while Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is the biggest Leader."
Tawhid Movement leader also assured that "The false witnesses' file should be discussed in the ministerial council rather than the dialogue table. He also described the indictment as "A new 5 May decision and a war launched by the UN Security Council on Lebanon," noting that "The opposition is studying the different scenarios of the outcome."
