Kobeissi: False Witnesses Not More Important than Lebanon, Resistance

Member of the Liberation and Development Bloc MP Hani Kobeissi assured "There are some outside Lebanon planning to take the country back to the time of incitement and strife," stressing that "The powers of good will prevail and win over those of vanity."

During a ceremony to commemorate Ashura, Kobeissi said that "The government should meet and take the appropriate decision concerning the false witnesses' issue who abused the country and the region."

Kobeissi stressed that the false witnesses are not more important than the Lebanon and the Resistance, adding "This resistance defeated "Israel" in more than one confrontation, and so we cannot allow the false accusation against the resistance."

Kobeissi called on the Lebanese government to take advantage of the Arab efforts to protect the stability and security of Lebanon.
