Britain Ends Arrest Threat to Visiting ’’Israelis’’

The London-based Jewish Chronicles mentioned that a new legislation to reform will be published as part of a Home Office Police Bill in Britain, which states that any arrest warrants should be signed off by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
This comes after an "Israeli" announcement that it would postpone strategic dialogue meetings in Britain until the later would guarantee that "Israeli" seniors will not be at risk of arrest while they are in its territories.
The bill is due to be published and set to implementation on Monday or Tuesday, The Jewish Chronicle reported.
The former PM Gordon Brown pledged before to change the previous law as it happened that an arrest warrant was issued for "Israeli" official Tzipi Livni, which resulted in canceling a planned speech in London. The Brown government failed to change that law before the 2010 elections.
The new government promised to reform this law in order to protect "Israeli" visitors from the arrest warrant law.
