MP Saheli: US, “Israel” Aim at Sabotaging Arab-Regional Efforts, Defeating Resistance through STL

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member Nawwar Saheli confirmed that Turkey is a prominent and effective country in the Middle East and in the international level.

Saheli referred that Turkey's support for the Arab efforts would affect in achieving a solution for the crisis, which provides stability and understanding within the country.

MP Saheli also stressed on the special stance which was presented by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyeb Erdogan, in defense for the resistance and the right of the people in defending and freeing their occupied lands.

In an interview with New TV (AL Jadeed), MP Nawwar Saheli referred that Turkey supports everyone, especially that it does not think in a sectarian doctrine way.

In this context, Saheli stated that Head of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Mohammad Raad, during Hizbullah delegation's visit to Erdogan, represented the latter with latest delveopments, especially concerning the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) and the indictment.

Saheli confirmed that the US and "Israel" are trying to fail the Arab-regional efforts, in addition to pressuring Lebanon through the STL in order to demolish the resistance, after they failed in defeating it in July 2006 war.

On the level of the CBC report issued earlier, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member refused to comment on it, stressing on the importance of keeping stability to know the truth and achive justice concerning PM Rafiq Hariri's assassination.

MP Nawwar Saheli reassured the importance of transferring the false witnesses issue to the Justice Council and resolving it. Saheli further criticized the amendments which the STL did on its rules of procedures and evidence, especially that it violated constitutional laws.

According to MP Saheli, this proves that the STL is politicized, referring that Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will be delivering a speech on Sunday, through which he will be delivering several messages.

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwar Saheli referred that Hizbullah SG will talk about the Arab efforts which are racing with the US-"Israeli" pressure, further denying the occurrence of any meeting between Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Qatari PM Hamad Bin Jassem Bin Jabar Al Thani.
