Leader of Islamic revolution and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei warned against enemy plots to create a rift between the Iranian nation and officials, urging all to vigilance.

The front of enemies of "Islam, the Islamic Revolution and Iran" did not succeed in overcoming the Iranian nation through war and threats of military action, said Imam Khamenei addressing a crowd of people from the city of Esfahan on the occasion of Eid Al Adha on Wednesday.

Imam Khamenei added that those who think they can use sanctions to bring the Iranian nation to its knees are misunderstood.

The Leader pointed to the repeated failures of the enemy and said it is impossible to fight with the altruistic Iranian people.

Imam Khamenei said creating a rift in the nation, causing separation between the Iranian nation and officials and provoking suspicion and fights over trivial matters are a "ray of hope" for the enemy.

"Everyone must be alert with regards to such enemy moves," the Imam said.

Imam Khamenei noted that having faith is the secret to the Iranian nation's successes and added that this auspicious commitment would help Iranians be pioneers and victorious in all fields.
He went on to add that the "enemy would continue to fail and be disappointed."
Imam Khamenei harshly criticized those who create "pessimism, despair and discord" and accuse the Islamic establishment of what the enemies desire.

"They are in fact acting on behalf of enemies of the Iranian nation and seek to compensate for the failure of the Zionist and American propaganda but Iranians know such moves are clear betrayal," Imam Khamenei stated.

Imam Khamenei added that spreading moral corruption and narcotics are among the tools used by the enemies to serve their political objectives and urged the Iranian nation and authorities to vigilance in this regard.
