Al Akhbar: Secret Report on Hizbullah Handed to STL by Information Branch in 2006

Lebanese Al Akhbar newspaper referred that there are loads of information that have not yet been published concerning the nature of information presented by the Internal Security Forces to the investigating committees of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).

Of this information presented by the Information Branch, are important memorandums issued in the year 2005 to gather information and investigate some of Hizbullah leaders.

Memorandums were also issued to investigate people whom the Information Branch considers as elements of Hizbullah's security firm.

The Information Branch also gathered efforts to suppose the structure of the resistance's military and security firms.

Furthermore, a detailed report over the phone telecommunication file was handed in to the investigating committee while Serge Brammertz was the on its Presidency.

According to the daily, the report which the STL investigation committee still has not published is a 28 paged report, made out of 5502 words, and organized under 7 articles, with reference that it is strictly secretive.

The report contains numbers of phone networks, and is issued from the Information Branch of the ISF on June 30 2006.
