Mario Aoun: $10 Million US Transfer to STL, Interference in Lebanese Internal Affairs

Former Minister and Free Patriotic Movement Member Mario Aoun confirmed that the US $10 Million transfer to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) represents pressure the US is playing on the Lebanese in order to control the STL.
In an interview with intiqad.net, Aoun referred that it has been proven that the STL is involved in tensioning the situation in Lebanon, in addition to involving it in further negative repercussions, and the statement announcing the transfer proves the US support of the STL.
In this context, Mario Aoun stressed that the US Embassy's step is a scandalous interference in the Lebanese internal affairs.
