As-Safir: Bellemare Heads to New York to Present UNSC with STL Report

Lebanese daily As-Safir newspaper mentioned that the General Prosecutor of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), Daniel Bellemare will arrive in New York next week in order to present a report to the UN Security Council (UNSC) members, over the progress of the STL investigations.
According to the daily, UN Secretary General Spokesperson, Martin Nesirky, said that Bellemare is regularly holding meetings in the UN headquarters to discuss the management of the STL, stressing that the Prosecutor is not giving out any details concerning the indictment.
Furthermore, As-Safir added in reference to a well informed source in the UN, that Daniel Bellemare will be presenting the UNSC members with the report by early November.
On another level, a high ranked source from the UN Secretary General's Office, strictly denied that Ban Ki-moon would know anything of the indictment, which is expected to be issued in months.
