US drones fired two missiles at a house in Ditta Khel in North Waziristan region bordering Afghanistan, killing at least seven people and injuring several, Press TV reported on Thursday.

According to Pakistani security officials and local residents, all the victims were Arab nationals.

Three Non-UN-sanctioned drone attacks have hit troubled northwestern Pakistan tribal regions over the past 24 hours.

Two separate attacks claimed the lives of at least eight people and left several others wounded on Wednesday.

There have been 16 drone attacks in North Waziristan in October, while in September there were more than 20.
The unsanctioned attacks by US unmanned planes have increased since President Barack Obama took office in 2009.

Washington claims its drones target Pakistani militants who cross the border into neighboring Afghanistan to help the Taliban militancy against US-led foreign forces there.

However, official figures indicate that many of those killed in such airstrikes are civilians. Since August 2008, about one thousand people have lost their lives in about 100 attacks by US drones in tribal areas of Pakistan. Over 90 percent of the victims were civilians.
