Change and Reform Parliamentary Bloc member Emile Rahmeh confirmed that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon's investigations are strictly politicized, stressing that what was not achieved in Lebanon in the year 2006, will not be achieved in any other means.
Rahmeh's stance came after his meeting with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud, where he referred that Lebanon's interest lies in dialogue among its people, in accordance to what the Syrian side is calling for, and not what the US enemy is triggering.
Change and Reform Bloc MP also urged that the false witnesses issue would be transferred to the Justice Council immediately, without any further delay, clarifying that it played a part in jeopardizing Lebanon's security, in addition to deteriorating its relations with a neighboring country.
