Supreme Leader Confirms Failure of Sanctions against Iran

Grand Ayatollah His Eminence Sayyed Ali Khemenei confirmed the failure of the international sanctions imposed against Iran.

In this context, Sayyed Khamenei stressed that the enemies targeted the Islamic revolution and its religious values, also adding that the enemies' aim is to destruct the basics of the Islamic community, and the popular commitment to the Islamic revolution.

Sayyed Ali Khamenei called upon more unity and solidarity between the people and officials in order to face the international schemes against their country.

In a speech he delivered in the holy city of Qum, Ayatollah Khamenei revealed that the enemies did not gain anything from their imposed sanctions, due to Iran's incredible educational development, in addition to the awareness of the Iranian people and officials.

His Eminence referred to the Religious Revolution's characteristics, where he clarified that one of the characteristics is not surrendering in front of the sanctions and pressures imposed by the arrogant countries.

Sayyed Ali Khamenei added that religion forms the spinal cord of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, stressing that this revolution will never back up against pressure.

Sayyed Khamenei remarked that the aim behind the enemies' assaults against religion and the people's commitment to the revolution's values is to create a gap between the people and the system.

Furthermore, Islamic Revolution Supreme Leader affirmed that the Iranian people with their insight caused the failure of the enemies' schemes and conspiracies in separating between the people and the Islamic system.

In this context, Sayyed Khamenei stressed that the imposed sanctions on Iran will not affect the people's lives, nor will it affect their development in various levels.
