Expert on International Law, Professor Omar Nashaba considered that Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar's report over false witnesses contains contradictions, adding that it comes as an attempt to please all parties.

In this context, Nashaba believed that this issue revolves around a political disagreement and not a technical judicial issue.

On the other hand, Nashaba confirmed that the cabinet should decide whether it is ready to put the past behind it, precisely on what is concerned with previous enmity with Syria and the internal tension between Lebanese sides.

Omar Nashaba referred that Minister Najjar presented a certain point of view, and tried to present professional work, yet he is related to a political party, which affected his objectivity.

The expert on international law expressed that the authorities should rush in solving this issue for what it has of negative effects on the general Lebanese situation.

Omar Nashaba further stressed that the cabinet, with all its ministers, should present the false witnesses file to the judicial council, and not stall its investigation.
