Hizbullah SG Plants the “One Million” Tree Near His Home in Haret Hreik

Hizbullah Secretary General Planted the very last tree, number 1 million, in front of his house in Haret Hreik in presence of Agriculture Minister Hussein Haj Hassan, MP Ali Ammar and a number of Hizbullah officials.

This comes in context of closing the "One Million Tree Campaign" that was organized by Jihad Al Binaa Development Association (JBDA).

In this occasion, His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah said ""Praise be to Allah. In the presence of the brothers today, Allah the Almighty has granted us success in planting the one millionth tree in the framework of the campaign to plant one million trees organized by the Jihad Al Binaa Development Association in the past few months."

We wanted this tree particularly planted in front of our house in Haret Hreik which was destructed during the 2006 July war so that it would resemble an invitation to each and every Lebanese citizen that says: if every Lebanese citizen would plant a tree in front of his house, pledged to take care of it, water it and preserve it, then imagine how will our country, cities and villages look like. This is of course an urgent need at all levels."

Sayyed concluded, "This step is a closing to the planting trees campaign, hoping to meet in the ceremony organized by Jihad Al Binaa, where we will talk about the issue with further elaboration."
