Hajj Hassan: False Witnesses Issue to Remain Opened Until Investigations Reach an End

Minister of Agriculture Hussein Hajj Hassan confirmed that the false witnesses issue portfolio has not so far been distributed for the ministers, stressing that the political debate in this issue is still ongoing in the ministerial council.
After Meeting with Minister of Transportation and Public Works Ghazi Aridi, Minister Hajj Hassan referred that the false witnesses issue will remain opened until investigations over their fabricators reach an end, in order to protect Lebanon, stressing on the importance of discussing this issue.
Concerning the Syrian arrest warrants and its effects on the bilateral relations with Syria and Lebanon, Minister of Agriculture affirmed that the warrants are strictly judicial, adding that the Syrian-Lebanese relations are firm.
Minister Hajj Hassan stated that any stances criticizing these warrants will fail, especially that Lebanon and Syria share tight relations.
