Former Lebanese Member of Parliament Emile Emile Lahoud expressed concerns that the Syrian Judiciary was to make the first move in the false witnesses issue before the Lebanese judiciary, although this issue is strictly related to Lebanon and the Lebanese.
In a press interview, Lahoud stressed that all what the Lebanese demand is to investigate the false witnesses' issue, which will be the essential key for revealing the truth about PM Rafiq Hariri's assassination.
In this context, Lahoud confirmed that the opposition has never planned a coup d'état, while most of the March 14 coalition led a coup d'état in the year 2005, threatening to take over the presidential palace.
Former MP Emile Lahoud further stressed that any other disregard concerning the false witnesses, would turn those accused of fabricating them into people accused of murder.
