French Daily in Lebanon L'Orient le Jour said that the due date set by Hizbullah for the Arab efforts in attempt to solve the issue concerned with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) indictment, will end by 11th of the upcoming month of October.

On that day, His Eminence Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will be delivering a speech on the anniversary of the Martyr Day.

According to the French daily, it is expected that His Eminence would clarify Hizbullah's stance regarding the expected indictment and the STL. In addition, information refer that some international investigators summoned some Hizbullah elements after the Month of Ramadan, yet they did not respond to that request.

In the article written by Scarlet Haddad, tight Hizbullah sources revealed that Hizbullah has become technically convinced that promises made to it in solving this issue after the trilateral summit, will not result in any progress, where Hizbullah would have to confront the STL till the end.

At the same time, sources reveal that Hizbullah will make way for further Arab and international negotiations, yet it would adopt gradual escalation in its campaign, hoping not to reach maximum confrontation.

Same sources also referred that the French Ambassador Denis Pietton's stance in Al Nahar newspaper, presents a sign confirming Hizbullah's certainty, for Pietton's stance according to Hizbullah, is a way to say that the indictment has been decided, yet it shouldn't change anything in France's policies towards Hizbullah.

On a further level, sources added that Hizbullah will be focusing its efforts on two options.

First option is to try and prevent any accusation regarding any of its members through duplicating its threats and confirming the dangerous repercussions of such decision on the Lebanese level, by presenting more evidences and proof that refer to "Israel's" role in the issue.

As for the second option, it's through removing the STL's credibility and therefore any indictment against Hizbullah member will be useless due to the anti-indictment campaign and internal solidarity with it.

Sources expressed that Hizbullah prefers the first option, but keeps all possibilities available.

The French Daily in Lebanon L'Orient le Jour also reported that opposition sources said it's important to analyze Walid Jumblatt's stances in order to understand how Hizbullah is heading.

Sources explained that Jumblatt started mentioned the false witnesses, and confirmed that the indictment will be a direct implementation of resolution 1559.
