Ahmadinejad: STL, an Internal Lebanese Issue, Iran Will not Interfere

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmeadinejad stated that very tight brotherly relations are present between Lebanon and Iran, confirming Iran's support to Lebanon and its unity.
In an interview with Al Nahar newspaper, after his press conference in New York, Ahmadinejad referred that Lebanon has many enemies because it stands strictly against the "Israeli" enemy.
Ahmadinejad clarified that for the first time in sixty years, Lebanon brought defeat to the Zionists enemy, which brought up the irritation of some parties, who now aim at deteriorating Lebanon's security and unity.
Iranian President also said that who is considered to be a friend to Lebanon should help Lebanon's unity, security and progress.
Regarding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the Lebanese people are the ones concerned with this issue, where it is an internal Lebanese issue and Iran will not interfere.
