Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri said that what French Ambassador to Lebanon, Danis Pietton said previously that France would keep its relations with Hizbullah even if the indictment was issued, confirms Hizbullah's fears, along with Lebanon's, concerning an indictment.

In an interview with As-Safir newspaper, Berri reaffirmed that he is committed to what he said about dealing with the false witnesses' issue, where these witnesses should be handed in to the Lebanese judiciary in order to be prosecuted.

Barri clarified that the Minister of Justice finished the report he was asked to form by the Ministerial council, where it would be presented in the next regular meeting.

Lebanese Speaker said that he is on constant communication with PM Saad Hariri, in what is concerned with the false witnesses' issue.

Berri adding that Hizbullah has not yet heard anything soothing concerning the false witnesses, where it is ready to cooperate with every positive step, especially that three of the false witnesses are now in custody for the Lebanese authorities, and it is possible to start investigations with them.

Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri announced his willingness to continue his efforts in order to affirm political pacification in Lebanon.

Denis Pietton said previously that "it would not be the end of the world" if the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) issued an indictment against some Hizbullah "rogue members", adding that his country does not intend to put Hizbullah on its blacklist, and will seek to further deal with it.

As a response to the French Ambassador's stances, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member Nawaf Moussawi said, "Those who care for Lebanon ought to be concerned about ways to prevent the indictment that is expected to be issued in December".

MP Moussawi also added that Hizbullah is facing a well organized campaign which aims at eliminating it as an anti-"Israeli" resistance, taking many forms, one of which is the STL indictment.
