Syrian Ambassador to intiqad.net: Lebanese Army, People, Resistance Equation, A Golden Trinity to Adopt

In an interview with intiqad.net, Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdul Karim said Syria is optimistic that Lebanon would go forward on the level of the false witnesses' issue, especially after PM Saad Hariri's stance published in Sharq Al Awsat newspaper.
"PM Hariri's stance over false witnesses is considered to be an important step that should be followed up to uncover the truth in this issue, and restore everything, relating to the people who were harmed due to the false witnesses", Ambassador Abdul Karim said.
Syrian Ambassador considered this step to be possible to conduct, if responsible sides were cooperative in a serious matter.
Ambassador Ali Abdul Karim also added that Syria is optimistic regarding the future of Lebanese situation, in the presence of cautious national and political figures, starting from Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri, and Lebanese PM Saad Hariri.
Ali Abdul Karim also referred to the responsible policy practiced by the resistance, led by Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Ambassador Abdul Karim refuses to comment on recent campaigns held against Syria, especially 14 March coalition campaigns, precisely held MP Nadim Jmayel, when he repeatedly accused Syria of PM Rafiq Hariri's assassination.
According to Abdul Karim, these campaigns do not deserve any response, adding that any accusation towards Syria expresses the failure of some sides' planned schemes.
As for Syria, Ambassador Abdul Karim said it remains clear on its stance, where it does not need any defender, and it was and still is careful for Lebanon's security and peace, including everything that protects the Lebanese situation.
Concerning rumors over the deterioration of the Syrian-Saudi understanding over Lebanon, the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon confirmed that the Saudi-Syrian coordination is good and continues, and Syria is optimistic regarding the future of the Lebanese national understanding.
Syria is also optimistic when it comes to the army, people, resistance equation, in addition to the support of the resistance for what is represents of a guarantee for Lebanon's liberation, and confronting the "Israeli" threats.
Ambassador Ali Abdul Karim also added that Syria is willing to preserve all what enhances agreement in Lebanon, where the support of the resistance is a way to enhance the Lebanese sovereignty and the Lebanese-Syrian security.
