Hizbullah Official in South Lebanon Sheikh Nabil Qaouk assured that the political and media war waged against the resistance could not affect the resistance fighters' determination and accomplishments.

He indicated, "Responding to these incitements would be by following the path of the resistance and strengthening its capabilities and presence in face of the "Israeli" enemy. This would increase the US project's failure in the region and prevent "Israel" from considering any aggression against Lebanon."

Regarding Burj Ai Haidar's clashes, Sheikh Qaouk pointed out, "The cheap exploitation of this painful incident exposes some officials in the country who are supposed to heal the wounds and work on putting an end to seditions. It assures our doubts of the truth behind their political backgrounds and intensions regarding the resistance at a time when they are supposed to protect national unity and preserve stability."

In a statement he delivered, Sheikh Qaouk stated, "Facts reassured the rightness of the army, resistance, and people equation that was proposed after the July 2006 Victory, in light of all parts' emphasis that this equation is the basic source of strength in face of "Israeli" challenges, years after the victory."

Regarding the Odaisseh incident, Hizbullah Official in South Lebanon considered that one of the lessons learned out of these clashes is that the International Community does not protect the Lebanese sovereignty, it is biased to "Israel", and the weapon pointed against "Israel" is targeted internationally and by the US whether it was for the Lebanese army or the resistance.

He indicated, "Those who supported the International Community failed. Lebanon now only has the choice of holding on to the people, army, and resistance equation that threatens the "Israeli" enemy."

Furthermore, Sheikh Qaouk wondered about the reason behind some Lebanese's discomfort from the integration and cooperation between the army and the resistance. HE also wondered about the reason behind some people's assaults on the Lebanese army for not using its weapons in Burj Abi Haidar clahses, which would serve the US demands, calling the army for using its weapons internally and not against "Israel".

In the same context, Sheikh Qaouk added, "Americans want the army's weapons to be pointed internally, specifically at the resistance. Moreover, some in Lebanon are in charge of this American plan that aims at stirring up enticement in Lebanon."

Hizbullah South Lebanon official considered, "Assaulting the Lebanese army and doubting its decisions has a clear background. This disagrees with the national consensus on protecting it and reveals the renewed American project in Lebanon, because America knows that "Israel" is incapable of confronting the resistance militarily, so it tries to spread internal enticements and divisions in Lebanon that would compensate the "Israeli" defeat."
