MP Saleh: Lebanon’s Stability Cannot Be Achieved Except by Eliminating Divisions

Liberation and Development Bloc MP Abdel Majid Saleh stated during a religious ceremony in Maaraka that Lebanon's stability cannot be achieved except by brushing aside divisions and divergences between Lebanese, NNA reported.

He said "Israel" is the only serious source of danger to Lebanon, and its threats can find expression in terms of the spy networks it spread throughout the country and its daily violations against Lebanon's sovereignty.

Turning to Lebanese military armament, Saleh said this issue must be the main concern for officials. He thereby called upon the Lebanese government to form a committee to follow up this matter with the aid of Arab countries and other states which have never hesitated to assist Lebanon.

Saleh recalled that arming the military is one of the most important projects which had been earlier presented by Imam Sadr, who requested that the Lebanese Army should go to the south and assume its natural role in protecting the borders against "Israeli" aggressions.
