Head of the Tawhid Movement and Former Minister Wiam Wahhab said, "Syria will militarily intervene in Lebanon if incitements take place between Sunnis and Shiites incase the international tribunal's indictment accused Hizbullah of PM Rafiq Hariri's assassination."

Wahhab added, "If the government failed to stop the tribunal, it would be incapable of leading Lebanon. If it wanted to rule, it should take into consideration the Lebanese people's benefits, which are to half this "farce's" work, after all it is an "Israeli" tribunal; and if it wanted to rule based on foreign benefits then let its members live outside."

In an interview with Kuwaiti newspaper Aljareeda, Wahhab clarified, "The opposition ministers will resign from the government if it agreed with any decision issued by the tribunal, and assured, "PM Saad Hariri's government won't last long if it does not revoke the Lebanese judges from the tribunal and stop funding it."

In addition, Head of the Tawhid movement assured, "PM Hariri informed Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah that the indictment will accuse Hizbullah of PM Rafiq Hariri's assassination."

Regarding the internal situation and witnessing a conflict like in "May 7", Wahhab asked, "Will there be a new "May 5"?". He added, "According to that, we know whether there is a new "May 7". We consider that any targeting to the resistance is an "Israeli" aggression, and any organization, whether Security, administrative, or military, that approves such a violation against the resistance is an "Israeli" one."

Wahhab responded to Aljareeda's question on whether MP Walid Jumblatt has information about the indictment by saying, "American Assistant Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman informed MP Jumblatt in 2007 that the indictment will include an accusation to Hizbullah.

On the false witnesses case, Wahhab indicated, "They testified before the international investigation committee, four officers were arrested due to false testimonies, and apartments were searched based on those testimonies, so enough lies."

He assured "Americans came to the region in 2004 and took control over power in 2005 due to the American existence. Now, Americans are retreating and they should rather leave with them."
