Mourad Calls on Urgent Governmental Meeting to Take Stance on STL, Indictment

Former Minister Abdul Rahim Mourad considered that the international tribunal file has been basically founded on a clear dissension and conspiracy project prepared by the United States in cooperation with "Israel".

He indicated that the message Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz delivered to the French president Nicolas Sarkouzi on this topic is a clear evidence on that.

In an interview with Al Manar TV Channel, Mourad considered that the international tribunal case is not being handled seriously, calling on the government to hold an urgent meeting to propose the indictment issue and take a stance over it.

"Continuous blabbering over this issue is not for anyone's benefit," he added.

Mourad assured that the international tribunal investigating PM Rafiq Hariri's assassination is an American-"Israeli" one, and it forms the basic weapons used to take revenge for the defeated "new Middle East" project and specifically the July 2006 war defeat.

Furthermore, he considered that separating between the tribunal and the indictment is an underestimation to people's minds while there is continuous speech on instability hitting Lebanon.
