Al Diyar: Former Zionist Officer, A New Witness in Hariri’s Assassination

A new witness in the assassination case of PM Rafiq Hariri has appeared, claiming to be a lawyer and a former officer in the Zionist army, Lebanese Al Diyar newspaper reported.

According to the daily, the Zionist officer went to the Lebanese Embassy in the Czech capital Prague, asking for asylum to Lebanon, alleging that he has information from inside the Zionist entity to Lebanon on what happened on the day of Hariri's assassination on February 14, 2005.

The witness indicated that he was ready to testify with all the information he has on the case.

Al Diyar pointed out that the Lebanese embassy in Prague informed this person that it is not responsible for him or his acts. However, the embassy sent the information to Lebanon through its charge d'affaires by proxy Nadim Sourati who sent it to the Lebanese Foreign Ministry, and is waiting for its instructions.

Furthermore, the paper indicated that this person claimed that he intends to hold a press conference to give out all the information he claims to have.
